The GLFS 2022-23 was conducted by Gambia Bureau of Statistics in collaboration with Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment on behalf of the Government of The Gambia. The government conducted this survey in collaboration with development partners and other stakeholders. The GLFS 2022-23 is the third comprehensive labour force survey conducted in the Gambia after 2012 GLFS and 2018 GLFS. The ultimate goal of this survey was to collect labour market information and other socio-economic data required for policy formulation and decision making in planning processes.
